Stables Open To Horse Lovers

Koko Crater Stables will host a “Peta-Horse” open house from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the stables, giving adults and children the chance to get close to one of mankind’s most important animal companions.

Visitors are welcome to stroll the grounds under the huge trees, inspect the stalls and enjoy a guided introduction to the more than 20 friendly, four-legged tenants who live in the stables.

Complimentary punch and cookies (for the humans) will be served.

The stables also conduct riding lessons and camp programs for ages 5 and up during the summer.
