Teen Readers Reap Prizes
Twenty-three teens representing Oahu-branch public libraries competed to win the grand prize of an 11.6-inch Chromebook computer at the Hawaii State Public Library Sys-
tem and Hawaii Pizza Hut 2016 Teen Summer Reading Program-Oahu Finale July 30 at Pearlridge-Downtown. The teens participated in the six-week summer reading program at their library and were selected for the finale through a lucky drawing. Hawaii Pizza Hut, a longtime corporate sponsor, donated prizes for all of the teens. Joining the teens in the celebration are (back, from left) emcee Lina Girl, state librarian Stacey Aldrich, and public libraries director Stacie Kaneshige (far right).
