Monica Lau Photography donated $4,000 to Make-A-Wish Hawaii. Funds were raised through $100 “mini-sessions” held at its Milk & Cookies Mother’s Day portrait event. Donation Supports Social Work

Queen Lili‘uokalani Trust donated $500,000 to establish the Queen Lili‘uokalani Distinguished Professorship at University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work. Funds will help improve training for those in social work and other allied health professions by focusing on Native Hawaiian cultural knowledge, practices and values.
