Kaelepulu Elementary To Recycle For PTSA
Kaelepulu Elementary School will have an Aloha ‘Aina community recycling drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, accepting a large variety of items.
Proceeds from the drive will benefit the school PTSA.
Residents can bring scrap metal, bicycles, appliances, HI-5 containers, used cooking oil, computers, printers, scanners, monitors, printer cartridges and toner, cell phones and accessories, all types of batteries, fax machines, cameras, TV sets (one per car) and game systems.
Reusable clothing and household items will go to Goodwill, nonperishable canned goods to Hawaii Foodbank and pet food and supplies to Poi Dogs and Popoki.
Not acceptable are motor oil, paint, microwaves, tires and hazardous fluids.
