Elder Health Seminar June 11

Getting older often brings new medical concerns to the forefront. That’s why Castle Medical Center is hosting a free seminar on geriatric health care from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 11 in its Wellness Center Auditorium.

“In Sickness & In Health Seminar: Understanding & Navigating Geriatric Healthcare” will focus on managing chronic diseases and quality of life, and available care options, including palliative care, home care and other services.

Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees must pre-register for the talk by calling 263-5400 or visiting castlemed.org.

Other upcoming CMC events of note include a fitness workshop on Freeing the Shoulders and Neck at 1 p.m. June 10 for $15, and the food-related Eat Well for Life: Cauliflower & Cousins at 6 p.m. June 25 for $10.
