Seattle Pacific University saw a handful of West Oahu students make its winter dean’s list: Waipahu’s Christopher Kane Katakura Thomas, and Aiea’s John Yoshiki Jarman, Zyra Gezelle Layaoen, Sharayah Silva and Ashley Shirley Sonan.

Kellie Mason

Kellie Mason (RA) of Kapolei has joined Locations, Hawaii’s largest real estate firm, as an agent. She began her real estate career in 2013 with Fort Campbell Keller Williams in Clarksville, Tenn. Outside of real estate, Mason has a working knowledge of American Sign Language.

Eight West Oahu students have made the dean’s list at Biola University in La Mirada, Calif. They are Pearl City’s Kenneth Kahunahana Jr.; Ewa Beach’s Moriah Armacost, Rachel Coen and Joel McBrayer; and Waipahu’s Sean Kakigi, Jathniel Manahan, Michael Sonson and Alyssa Yee.

Aiea High’s Julie Wilson ranked third among all state female competitors for trampoline and double mini trampoline in last month’s 2015 Hawaii Trampoline Championships.

Wallace (Wally) Voeks III

Wallace (Wally) Voeks III of Pearl City has been named Oahu field supervisor for Reynolds Recycling. He will replace Jeremy Storms of Waipahu, who will head to Sweden to play professional ice hockey for IFK ORE. In his new position, Voeks will supervise Reynolds Recycling locations between Haleiwa and Kalama Valley. Prior to his appointment as field supervisor, Voeks held the positions of site supervisor, vacation relief buyer and redemption center buyer.

Congratulations to Saint Martin’s University 2015 bachelor of arts graduates Chase DeCoito of Kapolei (business administration) and Jennifer Ganal of Waipahu (religious studies). Also graduating with a bachelor of science degree is Micah Shiratori of Ewa Beach (mechanical engineering).
