Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii
Sabra Wagner has returned to Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort as director of revenue management. Prior to her transition back to Hilton Hawaiian Village, she most recently was area director of revenue management for the Bay Area revenue management cluster of five hotels, including Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel, Hilton Oakland and Doubletree by Hilton San Jose.
Sharon Nomura has been promoted to vice president in Investment Management Services- Portfolio Management with Bank of Hawaii. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in managing large, private and institutional investment portfolios. She will work with existing and potential clients to help them effectively manage their wealth.
Dr. Robert Holoua Stender has been named executive vice president of Education with Kamehameha Schools. The position was created by Kamehameha Schools CEO Jack Wong to lead all of Kamehameha Schools’ educational programs, including preschools, K-12 campuses, community education and Ho‘okahua. For the past three years, Stender has led Kamehameha Schools’ Hawaii Campus as po‘o kula (headmaster).
Glenn Yee has been named vice president of administration with Catholic Charities Hawaii. As a member of the Executive Management Team, he is responsible for continued effective organizational planning and CCH’s strategic vision. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the job, and previously was chief financial officer and secretary at Hawaii Island Air Inc.
Mickey Vierra has been promoted to general manager at Windward Ford of Hawaii. He joined the company last fall as general sales manager and has been in the industry for more than 13 years.
