Now a Mililani husband, father and distinguished educator working on his MBA at Chaminade, Glenn switched to teaching after his days in the ’80s and ’90s as a national singing sensation … Congratulations to Kamehameha Highway. The part leading into Haleiwa has been adopted by Monsanto; plus Wahiawa District Park has been adopted by Wahiawa Lions Club … Speaking of Lions, in the never-ending quest for good young eyes, Jack Kampfer reports that the club screened a total of 179 students at Kaala and Wahiawa elementary for vision problems recently and referred 30 of them for further exams. They had use of a super-dooper PlusOptix hand-held device that really speeds up the process, and Leilehua health academy students helped with eye charts.
