‘Little People’ Speaks To Business People
The state’s top merchant, Laurie Rodriguez, is guest speaker at the Kaneohe Business Group’s luncheon meeting today (April 25) at Pohai Nani.
She will offer insights on “staying in the game” despite competition from large Mainland retailers.
Rodriguez and her sister Pat Perreira, who co-own the unique children’s store, Little People Hawaii at Windward Mall (and also at the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel), were honored last year by the Retail Merchants of Hawaii with the 2011 Retailer of the Year award.
She will speak during the monthly program, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The meeting is open to the public, and guests pay $15 for the lunch. Reservation deadline is April 23.

The business group also will honor the Marine, Sailor and NCO of the Quarter.
