Aloha Sprouting All Over Kaneohe Town
Aloha Petroleum opened its fourth Aloha Island Mart and Gas Station complex in Kaneohe last month, after three months of construction and other delays.
The project converted the 7-Eleven store that was next to an existing Aloha gas station into the company’s convenience-store model. The business is on Kamehameha Highway across from Windward City Shopping Center, and is close to another Aloha Island Mart (by Kin Wah Chop Suey).
“We always look forward to grand openings because they give us a chance to meet the community and share our appreciation for their patronage,” said Gary Altman, Aloha Petroleum’s general manager of company-operated stores. “We have more than one store in Kaneohe, but this one is brand-new and is the first in Windward Oahu that features our new convenience-store concept. The fresh fruit selection, restrooms and beer cave are just a few features that really set this new store apart from the others.”
Grand opening festivities March 22-24 included many prize giveaways, ranging from $1,000 in fuel gift cards to an electric guitar, mini-refrigerator, umbrellas, flashlights and more.
