Fair Targets Job Seekers, Students
For the 13th year, Leeward Community College hosts its Career, College and Job Fair, the largest event of its kind in West Oahu. This year it’s set for 9 a.m. to noon next Wednesday (April 8) on the LCC campus.
“(The goal of the fair) is to provide access to employment opportunities from local businesses and college programs,” stated job prep coordinator Sandy Hoshino.
On hand will be 60 potential employers, who will offer access to job opportunities (resumes and applications can be submitted on site).
Students also can look forward the more than 20 colleges represented at the fair to offer information on transfering to four-year institutions, and financial aid options.
According to Hoshino, the fair has “become a well-established venue for representatives and attendees.”
