Waipio’s Brandon Lee has transitioned to policy and public-private partnership associate with Ulupono Initiative, as the company has increased participation in public-private partnerships around renewable energy, local food, waste and water. Lee will support Ulupono’s public-private partnership efforts, including evaluating policy and regulation, performing financial/economic analysis of such policies, drafting proposed legislation and testimony, and working with partner organizations.
Marche Llanos of Kapolei has made the Chancellor’s List at University of South Carolina Upstate for the fall 2014 semester. Llanos maintained a 4.0 GPA and was enrolled in at least 12 credit hours for the semester.
Pearl City resident Kelli Shintani has been promoted to director of membership with The Plaza Club. In her new role, she handles all member requests and leads membership communications. She also works directly with the food and beverage team to develop programs that enhance the membership experience, from special events to programs in the Sunset Lounge and Hokulani restaurant. In addition, Shintani leads all marketing efforts to reach new members as well as to support catering sales.
