Dole Hosts Family Day March 7

Dole Plantation’s annual Family Fun Day is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 7 and everyone is invited.

The free event features live musical performances, hula, arts and crafts, prize giveaways and more.

The Family Fun Day is well known for the Central Oahu community groups and schools that partner with Dole Plantation for the annual “pineapple experience.”

Students and teachers from area public schools will run children’s games, food booths and other activities at a nominal fee as fundraisers for their programs.

Free entertainment will be provided by Wahiawa Middle School Jazz Band, Iliahi Elementary School Ukulele Club, Leilehua High School Polynesian Club and Wahiawa Hula Studio II, among others.

Attendees can get buy-one, get-one-free admission to Dole’s Pineapple Garden Maze and plantation tour.

The Pineapple Express Train Tour also is being discounted to $6 for adults and $4.75 for children.

Kama‘aina also will receive a 15-percent discount off of most retail merchandise in the Dole Plantation store.
