A self-taught quilter, retired Castle High teacher Margaret Teruya of Kaneohe will be in Paducah, Kentucky, April 25-28 as a semifinalist in th American Quilter’s Society Quilt Show and Contest, where she and 375 others will compete for $120,000 in cash awards.
