Learn Wreath-making Dec. 1-3

Attractive wreaths take creative effort, and some local partners have the solution for Kaneohe crafters: Wreath-making classes Dec. 1-3 at Kaneohe Playground.

The annual sessions are sponsored by Windward District’s Parent Community Networking Centers and by the city parks department. There is a $5 fee, and participants can register by calling Sean at 233-7330 or Rosey at 233-5727, ext. 247.

Hours for open instruction are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1 and 3, and noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 2.

If possible, bring the following supplies: straw wreath base, flower shears/scissors, evergreens, juniper, pine, autograph leaves, magnolia leaves, lipstick pods, podocarps, kukui nuts, uki grass, Christmas berries, etc. For other holiday arrangements, bring baskets, cups, mugs, ceramic containers and more.
