Joint Thanksgiving Eve Worship At Pohai Nani

Windward Coalition of Churches will sponsor a Thanksgiving Eve worship service at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at Pohai Nani auditorium and the public is welcome.

The joint service is a long tradition among area churches, and it’s back at the Kaneohe retirement facility venue after several years at other sites. The service features a choir of members from various congregations. A liturgical dance is planned, along with more singing, food and fellowship afterward.

Offerings received will go to the Women’s Prison Scholarship Fund.

Based at Windward United Church of Christ, coalition participants in the past have included Pohai Nani, Castle Medical Center, Christ Church Uniting, St. Anthony of Padua and St. John Vianney Catholic churches, Kailua and Keolumanu United Methodist churches, and Windward Unity, Kailua Christian, Emmanuel and St. Christopher Episcopal churches.
