‘Seussical Jr.’ On Mamiya Stage

Horton will be hearing a lot more than Whos this month as Sacred Hearts Academy presents Seussical Jr., with preview night at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mamiya Theatre. Directed by Kyle Kakuno, the play is a synthesis of various Dr. Seuss stories, including Horton Hears a Who!, Green Eggs and

Ham, The Cat in the Hat and more. Narrated by the Cat in the Hat himself, the plot primarily follows Horton the Elephant as he seeks to protect the miniscule Whos from danger.

Curtain goes up at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and Nov. 14-15, and 4 p.m. Sunday and Nov. 16. Because the Nov. 6 show is a preview night, tickets cost only $10. A special dinner performance Nov. 7 will cost $40 (with meal and valet parking included). Otherwise, tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and military.
