Resort Gets Freaky For Halloween

Everyone and their zombified grandma seems to be having a Halloween celebration this year, but Turtle Bay Resort is hoping its Freaky Friday Halloween is the one that entices crowds to its hotel grounds this Friday in Kahuku.

Activities start at 4 p.m. with Ghouls & Goblins Surf Jam, presented by GoPro at The Point, with an awards ceremony to follow. Adults also can head to the Haunted Luau Beach Party at Ola Beach at 6 p.m., and later finish off the evening with the Freaky Friday After Party at Surfer, The Bar at 9 p.m.

(A Bloody Mary Brunch at North Shore Kula Grille the next morning can help partygoers recover from the festivities, with reservations recommended.)

Keiki can participate in resort-wide trick-or-treating, starting at 4 p.m., and then compete in a costume contest at 7 p.m. at Ola Beach.
