More Sitting Down At Kahala Mall

Kahala Mall patrons can expect chairs — a lot more of them, as the mall recently started construction on a revitalized seating area outside of Starbucks and Whole Foods Market.

The project, which began in August and is expected to finish before Thanksgiving, is designed to expand and modernize the existing exterior seating area and its nearby landscape, adding new, custom-made tables and chairs for shoppers.

Although barricades will be up in front of Starbucks during the construction period, parts of the seating area still will be accessible to the public.
