Dozens Of Employers At Job Fair
Windward job hunters need look no further than Windward Community College’s Job Fair, running from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the library breezeway and mall.
Employers are looking for part-time, full-time and entry-level employees at the fair, sponsored by WCC’s Career and Transfer Center and ASUH-WCC.
Participating employers include 24 Hour Fitness, Abilities Unlimited, U.S. Air Force, Alliance Personnel, American Carpets, Assisted Living, Attention Plus, Bayada Home Health Care, Enterprise, Gyu-kaku, Homestead Senior Care, Honolulu Star-Advertiser, H&R Block, Island Hospice, Jack in the Box, JTB (Japan Travel Bureau), Kualoa Ranch, League of Women Voters, Manoa Cottages, Marine Corps Community Service, McDonald’s, New York Life, No Vote, No Grumble, Office of Voters, Remedy Staffing, Robert Half, Roberts Hawaii, Safeway, Securitas, Sherwin-Williams, Source It, Star of Honolulu, Summit Media, Sun Run Home, Tamura’s, Terminix, UCP, UH Hilo, Verizon Wireless, YMCA and Zippys.
WCC also hosts its “Welcome Event” for students from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the same day. While only students with valid IDs will receive free lunch, giveaway entries and other perks, community members still are welcome to check out the school’s club and organization booths.
