Hearing Set For Kapa’a Industrial Park Expansion

City planners will conduct a public hearing Aug. 22 in Kailua on a permit to allow expansion of Kapa’a Light Industrial Park.

The hearing starts at 10:30 a.m. at Kailua District Park concerning the Special Management Area Use Permit needed to erect industrial warehouses, base yards, a stormwater system, stormwater outfall line and an onsite water treatment system.

Applicant is Kapa’a LLC with agent Manfred Zapka of Sustainable Design & Consulting.
