Tony Conjugacion To Sing At Haleiwa Luau
Lili’uokalani Protestant Church hosts its 38th annual Benefit Luau from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, with both takeout and dine-in options and live entertainment.
On the menu are the tried-and-true luau staples of kalua pig, squid luau, chicken long rice, lomi salmon, poke, crab, opihi (if available), poi, rice, pineapple, haupia, kulolo and sweet potato. All food is prepared by church members and their friends on the Haleiwa church grounds.
Takeout meals are available for $17.50 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., but dine-in guests will eat between 1 and 4 p.m. for $20 (children pay $12.50). Guests who eat under the church’s big tent will be serenaded by Tony Conjugacion and Aulani Trio, as well as Ekolu Makou and Kanani Oliveira Hula Halau.
