Haleiwa Preps For 17th ArtFest
If it’s art, you’ll find it at the 17th annual Summer ArtFest this weekend at Haleiwa Beach Park.
The free festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m Sunday, featuring more than 130 juried visual artists who will display and sell their original works, ranging from oil paintings and photography to serigraphy and jewelry. There also will be live entertainment, music and dance, as well as cultural history tours, art demonstrations and keiki activities.
The nonprofit Haleiwa Arts Festival committee, which organized the event, will have a “Cool Stuff to
Buy” table, where attendees can purchase the official event shirt and poster. Food and beverages will be on sale, and other Haleiwa businesses and art galleries will host special events throughout the weekend festivities.
