* TRANSIT TALK The city conducts a public meeting at 7 p.m. March 27 on its Short Range Transit Service Operations Plan at Wahiawa District Park, covering issues specific to Central Oahu and the North Shore. Comments can be sent to srtsop@honolulu.gov. The plan will guide surface transit changes in the next six years.

* DOLPHINS Kahuku Library screens the film The Dolphin Tale at 5:30 p.m. March 27. Call 293-8935.

* NEIGHBORS North Shore Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. March 27 at Haleiwa Elementary, Mililani-Waipio-Melemanu meets at 7 p.m. March 28 at Mililani Rec Center III, Wahiawa meets at 7 p.m. April 16 at Wahiawa District Park, and Mililani MaukaLaunani Valley meets at 7 p.m. April 17 at Mililani Mauka Elementary. * CHORAL FEST The Mililani Complex Choral Festival begins at 6:30 p.m. March 29 in the Mililani High School gym, featuring songs performed for the public by all seven schools. Admission is free. Call 627-7747.

* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank has donor drives from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 30 at Wahiawa General Hospital, 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. March 31 at Mililani Town Center, 7 a.m.-2 p.m. April 7 at the town center, 7 a.m.-noon April 8 at the town center, and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 12 at Leilehua High School. * GIVING The Lokahi Giving Project comes to Mililani Shopping Center from noon to 2 p.m. March 31, where donations of toiletries and supplies are welcome. Also planned: crafts, a bouncer, bunny and chick petting zoo, pony rides and the Easter Bunny. Call 753-7507.

* ART WALK The monthly Haleiwa Art Walk runs from 5 to 9 p.m. March 31 in Haleiwa town, featuring sales and activities by artists and merchants. Call 637-4558.

* CHURCH FILM Lahaina Gospel Fellowship has its inaugural Movie Night from 6 to 9 p.m. March 31 in the Kipapa Elementary cafeteria, featuring Courageous. Refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome. Email imua90@yahoo.com.

* LIONS BREAKFAST Wahiawa Lions sell tickets from 9 to 11 a.m. March 31 at Longs Drugs and Tamura’s Market for their spring breakfast, set for April 22 at Leilehua High cafeteria. Proceeds from the $6 tickets go to service projects. Call 621-0115.

* POLO SEASON Hawaii Polo Club opens its 2012 season at 2 p.m. April 1 at the newly improved Mokuleia field. Weekly matches run through Sept. 2 with teams from here and all over the globe. * TALK STORY Surfer the Bar at Turtle Bay Resort offers Talk Story sessions with surfing and extreme sports experts, including surf legend Randy Rarick at 8 p.m. April 4. Doors open at 6 p.m., and a $5 donation is requested for charity. Call 293-6000.

* WAIALUA TASTE The annual Taste of Waialua is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 7 at the Waialua sugar mill with music, hula, farmers market, tours, food and seminars on chocolate and coffee. Call 779-7439.
