Stuffing Dad With Pancakes
Thousands of pancakes will be flipped June 15, when Hawaii Kai Lions Club hosts its 41st annual Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Kaiser High School cafeteria.
Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at the door. Entertainment begins at 7:30, featuring Dennis & LaVerne, magician Richard Bautista and First Chinese Church Ukulele Orchestra. Diners can choose to eat-in or take out their breakfast.
This fundraiser is the club’s main source of donations, and it will help continue community projects run by the Lions, including vision testing for East Oahu preschools, the Hawaii Kai Holiday Parade and Junior Police Officer programs.
Proceeds also support Hawaii Kai Library and Kaiser High’s Project Graduation.
