Fast Food Patrons Win Coffee
Certain West Oahu residents may be a little more jumpy than usual, now that McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii has concluded its spring McCafe coffee promotion.
The company poured out 220,000 cups of “newly enhanced” free coffee during its two-week campaign, and then awarded 14 customers a year’s worth of free java. Among them were six residents (or customers at area outlets) who are now entitled to slurp up a total of 365 cups each of caffeinated Royal Kona Blend by Hawaii Coffee Co.
Chosen randomly for the prize were Waipahu’s Deborah Sales (at the Mililani Mauka outlet), Aiea’s George Yasutome (Aiea outlet), Ewa Beach’s Dionne Dossantos (Fort Street Mall outlet), Ewa Beach’s Juliana Alcaraz (Ewa Beach outlet), Melchor Valmoja (Waipio outlet) and Crista Lee Childers (Kapolei outlet).
