Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 4/9/14
Garret Tokuda has joined Pulama Lanai as senior vice president of finance. He now is responsible for oversight of all accounting and finance functions at Pulama Lanai. He previously was senior vice president of finance at Scheduling.com Inc., a software company in Silicon Valley.
Susan Amuro has been hired as research and compensation analyst with Hawaii Employers Council. She now will help member employers create competitive compensation structures that attract and retain the highest talent. She is a certified compensation professional through World at Work, as well as a member of Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) Hawaii chapter.
Jeaneen Baggett has been promoted from assistant vice president and service manager to vice president and service manager at First Hawaiian Bank’s University branch. She is responsible for supervising employees, overseeing operations and managing the new account platform. She joined FHB in 1988 and has more than 26 years of banking experience.
Darwin Ing has been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president, Service Delivery Division with First Hawaiian Bank. He is responsible for operational support of FHB’s 62 branches in Hawaii, Guam and the CNMI. He began his banking career with FHB in 1978 as a management trainee and has held various positions.
Angela Angel has been named to the newly created position of chief production officer with Olelo Community Media. She now is responsible for all content production at Olelo, overseeing its production and community media services. She also is responsible for developing and training production staff, as well as providing support to Olelo volunteers for their own productions. She started at Olelo in 1997 and most recently served as director of communications and media services.
