Historic Ossipoff House On View

You may not know his name, but you know architect Vladimir Ossipoff’s work.

East Oahu residents have seen the Marshall & Ruth Goodsill residence in Waialae-Kahala area and, thanks to Historical Hawaii Foundation, they get the chance to go inside from 4 to 6 p.m. this Saturday.

Tickets cost $50 for the public and $25 for HHF members and should be ordered by April 4 from hhf2014goodsillopenhouse.e ventbrite.com to secure a spot. Location and parking details are provided upon purchase.

The open house will allow guests to tour the home, led by docents with knowledge of its history and design. Ossipoff took inspiration from 1950s Hawaiian architecture and Japanese elements in the building.
