Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 3/19/14
Travis Nishijo has joined Servco Automotive’s Servco Auto Parts Center division as assistant director of parts. He now will oversee operations for Servco’s Parts Distribution Center for Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Suzuki and Subaru original equipment parts. Nishijo most recently was parts manager at New City Nissan.
Neill A. Char has been named senior vice president and division manager of the private banking and wealth advisory divisions at First Hawaiian Bank. He now is responsible for overseeing the activities of a specialized team of bankers and wealth advisers who assist customers with personal and business banking, as well as customized wealth and estate planning solutions. He joined FHB in 2001 as a corporate banking officer.
Roni Gaspar has been promoted to senior vice president, service delivery division at First Hawaiian Bank. She will provide operational oversight guidance for the bank’s branches, departments and customers to ensure smooth delivery of services system-wide. She joined FHB in 1986 as a management trainee, and most recently was vice president, service delivery division.
Julie Nguyen has been hired as program coordinator with Hawaii Meth Project. In her new role, she will be responsible for planning and implementing meth prevention lessons in Hawaii schools as well as closely working with Hawaii Meth Project’s Teen Advisory Council to empower them. She also will engage volunteers to promote Hawaii Meth Project’s mission.
Kimberly Horan has been promoted to client relationship manager with simplicityHR by ALTRES. She now is responsible for fostering client relations and collaborating with simplicityHR’s operational teams in refining the customer experience. She joined the company in 2008 as a human resources consultant, where she educated business owners and senior executives about human resources outsourcing.
