Teens To Stage Tribute To Dr. Seuss in Mililani
Tickets are on sale now for Central Theatre Arts Academy’s Seussical the Musical, which will run from April 25 to May 10 in the Mililani High School cafeteria.
Cast members come from Mililani High and Middle schools, Mililani Ike and Mauka elementary schools and Radford High School, all paying tribute to the beloved Dr. Seuss characters, through a tale centered around Theodor Seuss Geisel’s book, Horton Hears a Who!
Each show will have a concession stand and silent auction, and a special dinner show May 9 will feature a menu of Seussical foods, such as green eggs and ham. Proceeds from all performances will benefit the nonprofit theater academy, formerly Tri-School Productions, and help expand its programs to include dance classes for the next school year.
Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for public school teachers and students with ID. For the dinner show, tickets cost $30, $25 and $17 (children ages 3 to 10). To order online, visit showtix4u.com.
Seussical is directed by Jamie Stroud with music direction by Kristi Higuchi-Delos Santos and choreography by Kristi Kashimoto-Rowbottom.
