Lawmakers Talk Story In Waimanalo Tonight

Area lawmakers will conduct a “talk story” meeting with residents from 6:30 to 8 tonight (March 5) at Waimanalo Elementary & Intermediate School to address major issues now before the Hawaii Legislature and City Council.

State Sen. Laura Thielen and Rep. Chris Lee, as well as City Councilman Ikaika Anderson, will lead the meeting.

Thielen serves on the Senate Agriculture, Economic Development, Government Operations and Housing committees. Lee chairs the House Energy & Environmental Protection Committee and serves on the Judiciary, Consumer Protection & Commerce; Ocean, Marine Resources & Hawaiian Affairs; and the Water & Land committees.
