Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii – 1/15/14
Liberty Peralta has been appointed director of communications at PBS Hawaii. In her new role, she will oversee the nonprofit organization’s communications, including media relations, advertising, online and social media marketing, and the station’s program guide and weekly e-newsletter. She joined PBS Hawaii in 2011 as the public television station’s first-ever multimedia writer.
Lisa Parker has been appointed director-shared services, training and development division at Hawaiian Airlines. She now is responsible for designing, building and delivering high-impact and sustainable programs that enable Hawaiian Airlines to attract, engage and retain top talent. Prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines, she most recently held a leadership role with Prospect Education.
Nolan Kawano has been appointed president of IC International. In his new role, he will lead the planning, development and operations of IC International. He most recently served for 12 years as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Island Insurance. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Chris Clark has been promoted to director of operations of Jamba Hawaii. He now is responsible for day-to-day store operations and providing exceptional customer service, excellent product quality and maximizing sales. Clark joined Jamba Hawaii in 2003 and was most recently a district manager for Jamba stores in central Oahu and on Maui.
Clare Hanusz has joined Honolulu law firm Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert. She is one of Hawaii’s well-known immigration attorneys and advocates and currently is a member of Hawaii Coalition for Immigration Reform and Hawaii Coalition Against Human Trafficking. She also is advocacy co-chair of American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Hawaii Chapter.
