Snow Falls In Kapolei Saturday
Kapolei Commons is ensuring that keiki in Hawaii will get to experience a white Christmas with its annual Snow Day from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 30.
Snow – 15 tons of it – will be falling in the parking lot across from Down to Earth.
“Naturally, the kids love the snow,” says property manager Vicky Ferrante.
“And for most of the kids, and parents, this is the first time they’ve played in snow. The kids show up in snow hats, gloves and jackets, and it’s always fun to watch them make their first snowball!”
In addition to a chance to play in the snow, the event also will include free photos with Santa, a holiday craft booth, custom-designed stuffed balloons, free snow cones, games and face painting. Holiday goodies will be distributed from T-Mobile and Royal Nails. Guests also can enter to win gift certificates from Ross and Genki Sushi.
Kapolei Commons is located at 4450 Kapolei Parkway. For more information, visit thekapoleicommons.com.
