Wahiawa Rezoning Plan Would Add Homes
Vineyard Investment Realty is seeking to rezone 2.3 acres of land in Wahiawa town in order to add six homes to the property, which includes vacant land at the corner of Kilani Avenue and Ilima Street.
The city Department of Planning and Permitting requests that public comment on the change – from R-
7.5 to R-5 residential – reach its office by Oct. 21. Testimony will help determine its evaluation of the request prior to public hearings before the Planning Commission and City Council.
The property, on the southeast corner of the intersection and two blocks west of Kamehameha Highway, supports 13 homes. The realty proposes to refurbish them and build an additional six units. The application is available for review at Wahiawa Satellite City Hall weekdays; ask for file No. 2013/Z-7.
