Hawaii Fashion Week

Hawaii Fashion Week’s 2013 finale takes place Sept. 20 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at LUX at the Trump International Hotel Waikiki Beach Walk featuring a fashion show and special guest performances. Singer/songwriter Anuhea has been selected as Face of Hawaii Fashion Week 2013, and on the runway will be fashions by GORG by Liana Green Wright, Tiare Teiti, Kini Zamora, Waru, Missing Polynesia, 88 Tees and Tali’s Polynesia. There also will be special guest performances by Duncan Kamakana, Aidan James, Miss Polynesia and Mr. Polynesia. “Hawaii Fashion Week is an opportunity to showcase the beautiful designs of our region, and to educate and inspire those who are drawn to the distinctive style of resort and aloha wear,” says founder/executive director Ralph Malani. “Our events are showcased on Oahu, Maui, Big Island and Kauai. They are held in the beginning of September each year for fall, and also in February for spring collections.”
