Oscar Johnson Wins A $250 Spree At Safeway

On Thursday, Oscar Johnson wanted to get some groceries, so he took a trip to Safeway on Beretania Street.

As he made his purchase at 1:25 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Oscar with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Safeway shopping spree.

“I like this new Safeway location, it’s convenient,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper. “And I like their customer service.”

Oscar, who works as a security consultant, is originally from Louisiana and moved to Hawaii about 25 years ago. In his free time, he enjoys video gaming, fishing and watching movies. He also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like to read the Poll question and answers,” he said. “I also like that it tends to focus on a lot of Island issues and local people, and I like the ads and coupons.”
