Belen Quinto Wins A $250 Shopping Spree At Kmart

Belen Quinto needed some new washcloths, so Tuesday she took a trip to Kmart on Nimitz Highway.

As she was leaving the store with her purchase at 12:50 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Belen with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Kmart shopping spree.

“I like the washcloths they carry at Kmart,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, who is retired from Marriott Hotels as a room inspectress. “The employees are friendly, and I like its (Shop Your Way) rewards program. Also, the location is convenient.”

Belen was born and raised in the Philippines, and moved to Hawaii 1966. She has two grown children and two grandchildren. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her prayer group.

She also likes to read MidWeek. “I like to read Ron Nagasawa’s column,” she said, “the Movers section to see who’s getting promoted, and Pamela Young’s column for the nice words people say. And I like that it comes every week in my mail, and the ads.”
