Classic Tees Off Sept. 12 At Bay View

Golfers who score a hole-in-one will have a chance to win cash Sept. 12 at the second annual Bay View Golf Classic, which will include putting and chipping contests followed by the 18-hole shotgun tournament. King Windward Nissan will sponsor a cash giveaway to a player who gets a hole-in-one.

The tournament aims to aid in the development of Bay View Golf Park, which is home to various community activities, including fundraisers, banquets and meetings, in addition to its driving range, mini-putt golf and 18-hole course. The park also hopes to expand its reach into the community by developing a private high school for the Windward side, preserving the Hawaiian fishpond and protecting watershed land.

The tourney includes food provided by Bay View Grill & Catering, a silent auction and awards, prizes and giveaways for all golfers.
