Gay Linn ‘Twinny’ Orbase Wins A $250 Shopping Spree At Tamura’s Market

On Tuesday, Gay Linn “Twinny” Orbase needed to get some food for her friend’s birthday party, so she took a trip to Tamura’s Market in Wahiawa. As she left the store with her purchase at 2:30 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Twinny with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Tamura’s shopping spree.

“I always shop at Tamura’s,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a delivery driver for Marian’s Catering. “Their prices are good, and they have fast service.”

Twinny was born and raised in Wahiawa, and graduated from Waialua High School in 1981. She has two children, and enjoys shooting pool and singing karaoke. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I look through the whole thing,” she said. “They’ve got interesting stories, and it’s free.”
