Nurse Aide Refresher Course
Contact for location, Aug. 13, Sept. 12 and Oct. 29, contact for times, $110. A one-day course designed to prepare students to take the State of Hawaii Nurse Assistant Competency Evaluation exam. Vegan Cuisine Cooking Demonstration
Ewa Beach Public and School Library meeting room, 6 p.m., free. Chef Ori Ann Li demonstrates how to prepare several recipes featured in her cookbook “Ori Ann Li’s Vegan Paradise: 65 Unforgettable Recipes.” The program also includes a Q&A, and autograph session of her book.
