Ed Case has joined Outrigger Enterprises Group as chief legal officer and senior vice president. In his new role, Case will manage the multifaceted legal affairs for the company, including assisting with the acquisition, development and management of real estate assets, and supporting the company’s hotel and condominium management business. Case most recently was an attorney with Bays, Lung, Rose & Holma.
Sharon Gi has joined Kamehameha Schools’ commercial real estate division as development manager. She will focus on feasibility, financial analysis, planning and overall project management for large redevelopment and renovation projects. Previously, Gi was assistant project manager for the Community Redevelopment Agency.
Wendy Abe has been named executive director for Palama Settlement. She will ensure the mission of the organization is fulfilled through its programs and day-to-day operations. Abe brings to the position a substantial background in nonprofits, leading strategic planning activities, fundraising and more.
Reid Gushiken has been appointed CFO of Iolani School. He will provide direct assistance to the head of school in supporting the mission, standards and policies of the school and contribute to their formulation and evaluation. Gushiken previously was senior vice president and controller for Central Pacific Bank.
Richard Myers has been elected president of Construction Specifications Institute’s Honolulu chapter. He will reach and educate as many people as possible in the construction industry to make a positive impact on their career development and to give back to the industry. Myers joined WATG in 1984 and served as project manager.
Dr. Richard Navarro has joined Ohana Hearing Care and will head a future Ewa office. He earned his doctorate in philosophy from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Arts and bachelor’s in science at Western Michigan University.
