Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii – 7/10/13

Bryan Andaya has been named chairman of the board of directors for Hawaii Restaurant Association, the professional association of the restaurant and food service industry in Hawaii. Andaya is vice president and COO of L&L Franchise Inc., which has more than 180 restaurant locations in 12 states, as well as overseas.

David Tumilowicz has joined Kaiser Permanente as director of broker relations and client engagement. In his new position, Tumilowicz will support regional growth objectives by developing and directing a robust business-to-business engagement program and the communications strategy for market engagement. He most recently served as vice president of strategy and business development for PacificBasin Communications.

Liana Mulleitner has been appointed director of marketing with Halekulani Corporation. She now is responsible for all aspects of its marketing programs and initiatives, as well as public relations and communications. Mulleitner most recently served as director of residences and public relations at Trump International Hotel Waikiki Beach.

Robert Fung has been named president of the West Petroleum Marketers Association. He is the first WPMA president from Hawaii to lead the regional trade association. Fung has served on the WPMA executive committee for three years, most recently as first vice president. He also served for five years as president of Hawaii Petroleum Marketers Association.

Keith Tseng has been named marketing representative for Xerox Hawaii. In his new position, Tseng will provide new and existing clients in the Ala Moana, Liliha and upper Kalihi districts with solutions to effectively manage their documents.

Vivien Tham has been named president of Pacific Vision Institute of Hawaii. Tham is an eye physician and surgeon specializing in cornea, external diseases, refractive surgery and uveitis. Previously, she spent nearly 11 years working in Kaiser Permanente’s Department of Ophthalmology.

Duncan MacNaughton has been elected to serve a two-year term as chairman of Punahou School’s Board of Trustees. A board member since 1997, MacNaughton is founding partner and chairman of The MacNaughton Group, a diversified group of companies that includes real estate development, commercial brokerage and retail.
