Teen Creates Plane Mural
Alaska Airlines recently introduced its "Spirit of the Islands" aircraft, a specially painted Alaska Airlines 737-800 jet adorned with Kaiser High School student Aaron Nee's winning design. The aircraft touched down at Honolulu International Airport before a crowd of students, educators and travelers. The unique paint theme was created by Nee, age 17. Pictured are (from left) Nee's mother Robin Connell, "Paint-the-Plane" contest winner Nee, Nee's stepfather Mitch Connell, Nee's sister Malia Nee and Alaska Airlines president and CEO Brad Tilden.
