Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaii Run
Begins and ends at Kailua High school, 7 a.m., $25-$30. The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaii holds a 5K, 10K and one-mile walk event. Net proceeds from the event go to sponsor the foundation’s educational and informational services. (hawaiiepilepsy.com)

Hawaii Kai Ducky Dash
Hawaii Kai Towne Center, 1-3 p.m., $5 donation. The Hawaii Kai Rotary Club sponsors a Ducky Dash. Over 6,000 yellow ducks wearing graduation mortarboards race to the finish line. Each adoption certificate of a duck has a coupon good for McDonald’s Hawaii Kai, Aina Haina and Kahala with a check box for Kaiser High School or the Rotary Club of Hawaii Kai. Bike Decorating Contest and Parade
Maunalua Bay, 3:30 p.m., contact for cost. Come with bikes and bicyclists decorated with the July 4 theme. League Cycling Instructors on-hand to provide bike maintenance tips and review proper helmet and bike fit with parents and childrens. Prizes awarded for best decorate bikes and bicyclists. A Salute to Valor Music Festival

Hawaii Bone Marrow Donor Registry
