New Execs Join QMC-West
The Queen’s Medical Center (QMC) recently announced two new executives at QMC-West Oahu. Hong K. Min has been named director of quality, clinical and financial services, and Ellen Speier has been named the director of support services.
Prior to joining QMC- West Oahu, Min was director of planning and analysis at Kaiser Permanente. He also has worked as senior planning specialist at Stanford Hospital and Clinics and senior financial analyst at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. In his new position, he will be responsible for directing diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, lab, respiratory therapy, accreditation and licensing, patient safety, risk management, quality, infection control, finance, revenue cycle operations, business services and patient access.
Speier comes to QMC-West Oahu from Tripler Army Medical Center’s Department of Surgery, where she worked as the health system administrator. She also has served as health system administrator for the Schofield Barracks Health Clinic and director of operations at Team Praxis.
