Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii
Nathan Kam has been promoted to executive vice president at McNeil Wilson Communications. He now will play a larger role in the management of the firm, in addition to his current client service responsibilities. Kam joined the firm in 2000, and leads the firm’s representation of Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau and the Big Island Visitors Bureau.
David Lee has been named director of facilities and biomedical engineering at The Queen’s Medical Center. He will be responsible for the planning, implementation and support of QMC facility projects, as well as managing the renovation of The Queen’s Medical Center-West Oahu. Lee previously served as vice president of the property service department at the Outrigger Enterprises Group.
Aya Inamura has been appointed vice president of Arancino Restaurants. In her new role, she is responsible for operations, financial management and marketing of the business, with two Waikiki locations and a third opening at The Kahala Hotel & Resort. Inamura has worked at the family business since she was 16 years old and officially joined the company as a full-time employee in 2010.
Kevin Yoneda has been name service manager of the Servco Lexus Honolulu dealership. He will manage the daily operations of the service department, overseeing a staff of 46 team members. Yoneda started his Servco automotive career as a member of its management associate program in 2006.
Pawarthi Paniker has joined Kaiser Permanente Hawaii as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. She will practice at both the Kona clinic on Hawaii Island and the Mapunapuna clinic on Oahu. Paniker most recently worked as a Mohs surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Norwest in Portland, Ore.
Tiffany Richardson Tucker has joined Current Affairs as sales assistant. She will provide sale support to the Current Affairs team by generating leads and assisting associates with event planning and production needs for clients. Tucker most recently served as a clinical assistant at Honolulu Endodontics, and as receptionist and patient coordinator at Hawaii Advanced Imaging Institute.
Christopher Wendel has been named financial officer of Volta Industries. He will oversee and direct the fundraising strategy and performance with Volta’s network of corporate sponsors and community partners. Wendel brings to the position more than 20 years of experience as a recognized global financial services leader.
