Gretchen Asato Wins A $250 Spree At Ben Franklin

On a recent Wednesday, Gretchen Asato needed bubble wrap to mail a package, so she and husband Herbert took a trip to Ben Franklin Crafts in Enchanted Lake. As they made their purchase at 10 a.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Gretchen with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Ben Franklin Crafts shopping spree.

“I like their selection of products,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper about shopping at Ben Franklin. “And their friendliness.”

A retired medical technologist, Gretchen is originally from Pittsburgh and has lived in Hawaii for 51 years. Her hobbies include golfing and traveling. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I just like all the articles and commentaries from the different writers,” she said. “It keeps me up-to-date with local news, and I like the MidWeek Poll question. Also, the ad sections are always good.”
