Ewa Beach Celebrates Ohana

The Ewa By Gentry Community Association will honor the importance of family with Pride for Ewa 2013: Celebrating Ohana Together.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27 at Hoalauna Park in Ewa Beach.

In accordance with the theme, it has something for every member of the family, including food, crafts, rides and exhibits.

A resource fair will highlight healthy activities to help residents achieve an active lifestyle.

The free celebration also has a lineup of live entertainment, including performances by Jordan Segundo, Cheesa and Troy Laureta and Nesian N.I.N.E. Veteran entertainer Al Waterson will emcee the program.

Children’s choirs from Ewa Beach Elementary, Iroquois Point Elementary, Pohakea Elementary and American Renaissance Academy also will take the stage to showcase their talents.
