Beach Cleanup Ends At Sea Life Park Party

An Earth Day beach cleanup and music festival are planned for April 20, with volunteers cleaning shorelines from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Pyramid Rock on Kaneohe Marine base, Kailua and Waimanalo beaches, and around to Makapuu, the Kaiwi coastline and Sandy Beach.

The cleanup will be followed by a party for participants from noon to 4:30 p.m. at Sea Life Park with live music, guest speakers, games and keiki activities – all for $5, which includes admission to the park and all of its shows.

The entertainment lineup includes Shawn Kaua’awaMokuahi Garnett, the Urchinz, HI Remedy and Summer.

The events are sponsored by Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, which aims “to make this the largest cleanup in Hawaii history.”
