Ainu Treasures: A Living Tradition in Northern Japan
East-West Center Gallery, weekdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sun. 12-4 p.m., call for cost. Like many other indigenous people throughout the world, the Ainu have taken initiative to revive their traditional culture, including a project for Ainu artists to make replicas of Ainu artifacts owned by various museums. Hawaii Meth Project Hosts “Take a Stand Against Meth” Teen Art Display
Hawaii State Capitol – Chamber level, foyer, until March 22, 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m., closed holidays, free. The “Take a Stand Against Meth” contest challenged Hawaii teens to create original works of art inspired by content from the website methproject.org. Hawaiian Heritage Plants Art Exhibition

La Strada
